these are the bands/people that i want to meet.

#1:Manchester Orchestra

Note: I love these kids, I always have and always will. They have dragged me through hell and revived me. They are basically all I have, at the end of the day, when everything seems against me, there they are just waiting for me to listen. I have seen them live twice[in the same yaer] and still have yet to meet them =/. but one day I will, and it will be worth it.

#2: Paramore

Note: These kids neve cease to amaze me. Brand New Eyes impressed the shit out of me, and also made me connect with them on a much higher level than ever before. I've seen them only once.

#3:NeverShoutNever

Note: Not only is this man very handsome, I'm sure he has lots of wisdom and talent stored up in him, just ready to burst out.

#4: Between the Trees

Note: Today is the first time I have ever listened to them, and I fell in love.

New Again Part one

Everyday is the same here. Everything, everyone is the same. Nothing ever changes. I wish it was different, but we're all stuck in a rut. There is no such thing as individuality, everyone wears the same clothes depending on where they are going and their gender. All the houses are the same size and color and materials. The skyscrapers all have fifty floors. All the schools have three floors. All the hospitals have eight floors. There are no hotels, since no one in their right mind would ever want to come here. No museums, no such thing as music except for the humming in my head or the noise of the busy city. Although our town is of pretty good size, everyone knows everyone, so we can never make mistakes, or we will look foolish. Women don't work, and girls don't go to school. Why cant we all be equal? Julie, my next door neighbor who is three years younger than me is also way smarter, she says her mother has been teaching her on the side. Where her mother got her information, I don't know. But she must be a good teacher. My family moved here twelve years ago, when I was four. Sophie, my little sister, who is only nine, will probably never know what it is to live outside of this city. Mom said it would be a good idea, and I couldn't protest, I was too young. Dad left when Sophie was six, he said he couldn't take the difference. He always felt that something was missing when we came here. He said that he felt like he lost something. I know what he means, I just don't know what it is that's missing.

"Ben? Is that you?" my mom asks from the kitchen.

"Of course mom, who else is it supposed to be?" she doesn't answer. Oh joy, after school. All that means is dinner, homework, then go to sleep. "Is dinner almost ready?" I change the subject.

"Another twenty minutes." I practically run up the stairs. Once in my room, I go to my closet where my stolen machine lies. The computer I stole four months ago from my school, its only a laptop so it didn't take much effort. I had figured it out the first month, but soon after that I had to do more with it. I knew it could do so much more. There was all these outlets in the back of it, empty ones, they had to connect to something. I also figured out how to get rid of the tracking system that the school had installed, that was the easy part. The hardest was trying to figure out what the rest of it could do. I wanted so much to ask Julie, but she was so little, she would snitch in a second if she ever knew, and plus even if I spoke one thought about it, it would travel across this town in about thirty seconds. Then everyone would know, and who knows what would happen to me then, no one knows what happens to the ones who disobeyed.

"Ben! Ben? Dinner is ready!"

I sigh, shut off my beautiful machine, and head down the stairs to the dinning room. "Looks great mom." I say, no enthusiasm added. I sit down, looking at the stream of steam coming off of my plate.

Doubt.

Blood boils over the stove at high temps
As I sit and wait for it to end
I hope it comes on subtle
But I doubt it.
I've been anticipating this for the longest time
I knew this day would come.
Where would I be next year?

So much I have to fix

Can I make the transition?
What's better, analog or digital?
With analog, you get the past, ever so rough around the edges but in the middle its smoothed out.
With digital, who knows.
Everyone would like to know the future, would like to have certain things happen.
But will they?
Have things ever completely worked out the way you wanted them?
What makes you so sure?
Your confidence makes me nervous.

Taking Back Sunday- "New Again"

After the departure of long time friend and brother Fred(you spell his last name). They had to find another back vocalist and lead guitar. His name is, Matt Fazzi.
With this they made New Again, its been 3 years since their last CD Louder Now, which was really good. But can New Again live up to its ancestor?
My Opinion: Yes. i have heard live versions of New Again, and I cant even begin to tell you how excited I am. This is just amazing. I noticed as I grow up so does their music, its an appreciation thing I guess.

No Doubt

Thier return wasnt much of a suprise, well to me. I have heard so many times that they were getting back together. Although I wasnt completely torn to see them go. Still like them though, they better not let their old selves down, cause then the would let me down, and probably the rest of you who loved them.

Blink 182

I really didnt see this one coming. For years now we've heard RUMORS of them coming back and so many times over our dreams were shot down. But fret no more darlings our heroes are back. I hope to whatever greater power there is, that they will make music together like they used to, and forever, I never want them to get old, i want them to stay 20-whatever forever to keep making the silly anthems that filled our summer radios and filled our eyes with tears as we listen to the ballads. I want to love them as I did when i was younger, I want to go back to the way it was.
I remember the day I heard they had broken up, I was in middle school in the library on one of the school's computers, trying my best to refrain myself from bursting out in tears.
I also remember the day I found out that they were back together. It was one day after they had anounced it and I saw it on here and I read it without beliving my eyes, and there came the few ears of joy, theres only one time I had cried of joy and that was when Fast Times At Barrington High( The Academy Is...) came out. I've never gotten a chance to see blink 182,I was to young when they broke up. Thank you for giving me and a ton of others the chance to finally see you.

Its been three days since she said she would.
Although she said that work would give her hell this week.
I can probably guess where all her free time is going.

But its only been three days.

False Adds

Ok i have a HUGE problem with these, dont know much about them but i tell you the ones i know, and if i'm wrong, tell me! And im not going to talk about "Vote For This Adds" those are a different story.

Verizon Wireless.
You know how they say that they have "the best network service" stuff?? and the guy says"Can you hear me now???....Good!" and their newst "Dead Zone" commercials...
I have had verison a while back and they were crap!!! There was barely any service 10 feet from my house, and i live in the city..
Now you may be say, well that was "a while back..." Well let me tell you this.
Last week my friends BF didnt call her...what happend????
His cell didnt have any service..guess who his carrier is..VERIzON.
So they are ICK!

Vonage Phone Company.
If you havent heard Vonage uses your internet connection.
Lately they have this add that say that they are better than Quest, but let me adk you this Vonage.
How are people going to use your phone company when most homes have a cox or quest internet hookup?? Why would we get rid of one thing when we could do 2 things at one time?
AND you dont even offer a internet hook up, how do expect people to have a internet hookup on their own??

A lot of you, im sure, have either seen or heard about most of her "racey" photos. "FANS" of hers say that she is just a teenager and to let her live.
Well let me tell you that she chose this life. If she wanted to raunch about, taking racey photos, maybe she shouldnt have signed to DISNEY. I mean little children look up to her, does she not think of her fans, because that's exactly the message I'm getting when she does shit like that.
Actually i think her whole Hannah Montana show is stupid. It teached kids that its ok to be something you're not, and thats just wrong.

Katy Perry
I actually like Katy Perry if you didnt know. I did not watch her at Warped.
DJRossstar recently put up a blog about her smash, "I Kissed A Girl" and quoted her mother, and I've got something to say about that.
First if you dont like that kind of "talk" why are you listening to the radio anyways?? 'Cause im 99.9% sure that you heard it on a top 40 station or whatever and things on there arent always so pretty sounding. And why did you even pick out that song? I mean listen to "UR So Gay" and you'll here more if what you "love". (or some other songs from her)
If you dont like it then change the channel bitch.
If my parents said anything like that to me, they wont see a penny from me, I dont care whether they put me on this world, if they dont like what I chose to do with my career then they dont know me and therefore are nobody who i want to know.
Good thing she's not signed to DISNEY...right??

my tiredness as reduced now, i would have been with HER at 7 today if i only had a ride.
i was going to go visit Umbrella today, but i forgot my journal, i know i need to go back their soon, i have to relive those times to soar free like the birds, to finally see.

Fast Times At Barrington High

it is literally making me cry right now.
the only musicians who have ever accomplished that is Manchester Orchestra, and they WERE my #1
now TAI is.
They themselves have "leaked" it on to their myspace, its all there, full length, everything
go listen.
but i have to warn you, if youre a BIG fan, you'll be either be blown away or dissapointed depending on your self.
after reading Beckett's brand new blog for Thursday this record hits him right on the nose, at least i think so.
